Habitaria

Seashores lay side by side with large industrial complexes and far-stretched construction sites, which also function as enclosures or some sort of oceanic barricades. While the ocean played a major role in creating globalism through trade and discovery, its history hides a more sinister political economy of oceanic borders and the many incidents of resistance that involved rebellious sailors, piracy, and desertion. Although those struggles are still unsolved, somehow they seem to be woven into the social memories of today’s coastal habitat, sites that also harbor the industry trade that happens by the sea through cargo ships.
